Parrottsville, Tennessee - 3rd oldest city in TennesseeParrottsville, TN, is a small town nestled in the Clear Creek Valley. It is located on Highway 321 between Newport and Greenville about 35 miles from Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The residents of Parrottsville are a proud and friendly people. Many families have lived here for generations. Parrottsville United Methodist Church - # 7 ca 1871 formerly the site of the Roadman Mansion, which had been purchased by Parrottsville citizens for a "subscription" school and later purchased by the Methodist Episcopal Church. Present structure was built on the old house foundation in 1927. |
